Mummifying Paste paste x 12gr

Mummifying Paste paste x 12gr

Mummifying paste-Antiseptic, non-absorbable and radiopaque paste for obturation of root canals
Composition: Polyoxymethylenes, cresol, radiopaque filler up to 100%.
Рroperties:
Mummifying paste is a non-absorbable and radiopaque preparation for temporary or permanent obturation of root canals, used as an effective antiseptic agent against aerobic and/or anaerobic bacteria.
This drug does not contain any anti-inflammatory components, which in some cases may be contraindicated. Therefore, there is a small risk of inflammation if the paste goes beyond the tip. If the use of anti-inflammatory agents is necessary, Endofill with dexamethasone is recommended.

Temporary or permanent filling and obturation of difficult-to-pass root canals with incomplete extirpation of the pulp.

Application method:
devitalized and remove the root pulp as much as possible, rinse and dry the canal.
insert the paste into the canal using a canal filler.
avoid air bubbles and overflow of the channel.

Temporary sealing:
Cover with temporary cement and open after 5-7 days. Remove the paste mechanically (if necessary, use “PD” Eugenate Desobturator to soften the paste). Treat the canal thoroughly and complete obturation or sealing as necessary.
Final obturation:
Seal the canal with zinc-phosphate cement and complete the restoration as necessary.
Storage:
Store at room temperature from -50 s to 30 s, protecting from direct light

Packaging: a jar of 12 g

When endodontic retreatment is required, Eugenate desobturator is a pure orange oil solvent used for the softening and subsequent mechanical removal of eugenol-based cements (eugenate) or gutta-percha points. The softening of the obturating materials enables its easier mechanical removal, especially when the hardness and location of the material are critical.
As only few drops of solvent are necessary, precise delivery can be achieved using drop-by-dop dosing product, such as PD Plastic Pipettes 0.3ml or 1ml. Read the scientific articles about PD Eugenate Desobturator in News section to discover the safe and efficient use of the product on zinc oxide eugenol, calcium hydroxide and resin based obturation materials.

When mixed together, Zinc oxide and Eugenol form a paste used as temporary dental dressing. The temporary action of the cement is driven by the presence of clove oil (eugenol part). The paste is also indicated for temporary filling and indirect pulp capping.
Both components are chemically pure (> 99%). The chemical reaction between eugenol and zinc oxide results in a set zinc eugenolate chelate.

Endofill is a radiopaque preparation for permanent root-canal filling. Its composition is well tolerated by tissues and it provides anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and germicidal actions. Before hardening, the paste penetrates the narrowest fissures and maintains its therapeutic effects throughout the treatment until completely set.
The final obturation neither retracts nor resorbs.
Indication:
• Permanent obturation of the root-canal after pulpectomy.

Devitec shiringe x 3.5gr

Devitec shiringe x 3.5gr

PD Swiss Devitec – (Arsenic free) Devitalizing paste. Paste for pulp devitalization.
Devitec should be used when a medicated preparation for pulp devitalization is advisable and when an arsenic-free preparation is preferred. The active ingredient is Polyoxymethylene, a coagulant which acts on albumin and confers the required fibrous consistency to the pulp to facilitate its subsequent extirpation.
Lidocaine Hydrochloride is an anesthetic to relieve pain and calm irritation.
Composition
1. Polyoxymethylene 46 %
2. Lidocaine Hydrochloride 37 %
3. Oil of Cloves 12 %
4. Excipient ad 100 %
5. Devitalization of the pulp
DEVITEC – INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Eliminate, as far as possible, the dentine of the decayed cavity in order to ensure close contact with the pulp. Close contact of the paste with the pulp accelerates the devitalizing process
2. Insert a small quantity of paste into the base of the cavity and seal hermetically with a temporary obturation
3. Devitalization is completed within about 7 days
4. If the preparation cannot be brought in close contact with the pulp, a second treatment might be necessary for a 2nd seat
5. After devitalization, a permanent root canal filling can be placed once the pulp is totally removed and pain relief is complete
Warning
1. Contains Polyoxymethylene which can be toxic by inhalation or ingestion. Contact with the skin may cause irritation, burns or hypersensitivity
2. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and consult a physician
Storage
Store at room temperature between 5°C and 30°C. Close the container carefully after use.
Shelf life 3 years.
